Another awesome meeting of the Greater Wheeling Chapter of AITP! Mike Ennis gave an excellent demo/presentation on "Vibe Coding" with AI (ChatGPT vs Claude). He built a simple calendar and scheduling web application and explained where each platform excelled or "ran aground" in helping him build the app.
Thank you to Mike for all the work you did to give us a great demo and some extra insight into the benefits and setbacks on using AI for programming assistance!
It was also great to see many new faces tonight - both guests and new members! I'm really looking forward to see what the rest of the year has in store. If you are an IT professional, a tech enthusiast, a hobby techie, or work in a tech-adjacent role in the Wheeling area, I encourage you to come to a meeting.
